Breakfast
To start the day well
At Apakabar Homestay, you will enjoy a hearty continental breakfast with hot drinks, fruit juice, fresh bread, mini pastries, butter, jam, honey etc... (included for the guest rooms and at the price of 8€ for the lodge)
Drinks : coffee (Carte Noire), Indonesian tea (jasmine or black), organic milk, chocolate (Nesquik), orange juice and apple juice.
Fresh bread and mini-viennoiseries : bought the same morning at our neighboring baker :le fournir de la Rochette(except Mondays and vacations, opening at 7:00 am). Our preference is for the Fertoise, which is a traditional baguette (but usually available after 8:00 am).Another good address where we go quite regularly :Au Pain du Lys in Dammarie-les-Lyswhich has a very large variety of breads. For breakfast before 7:10 am and on Mondays, we buy atFournil de Nevoylocated in front of the Melun train station (opening time 6:00 am).
Jams and honey :The honey comes directly from a beekeeper in Normandy: Pascal MAHIER, RUCHER LA JARCIERE. We prefer organic jams bought from local producers, for example XXX in Milly-la-Forêt. We also offer exotic jams from the French West Indies or Reunion Island (Royal or Bourbon brands). Depending on availabilityat our retailerin Dammarie-les-Lys (Asian supermarket Xiong) : mango, banana, coconut, passion fruit, ginger, etc.
